Our international activities

International mobility is a central part of our educational approach.

We organise and participate in a wide range of activities, including student exchanges, study trips and staff mobility programmes. These activities are closely linked to our vocational training in logistics and security.

 

STUDENT MOBILITY

International exchange programmes

Canada – Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC)

Description:
Long-term cooperation with NSCC including student mobility and practical training experiences in Canada.

Activities:

  • practical insights into port and maritime logistics
  • exchange with Canadian students and staff
  • training in real working environments

European study visits

Port study trip: Rotterdam – Antwerp – Zeebrugge

Description:
Annual study trip for vocational students focusing on the comparison of major European ports.

Activities:

  • visits to port terminals and logistics facilities
  • analysis of international logistics processes
  • cooperation with partner institutions

STAFF MOBILITY

Job shadowing and training

Description:
Teachers regularly participate in international job shadowing and training activities.

Examples:

  • Spain (Basque Country)
  • France
  • other European partners

Focus:

  • exchange of teaching practices
  • development of vocational training concepts
  • strengthening international cooperation

LONG-TERM EXPERIENCE

BS27 has a long tradition of international activities and mobility.

Example: Nicaragua (until 2017)

Description:
Long-term international cooperation and study visits, currently paused due to the political situation in the region.
